International Symposium on the Pathophysiology of Reactive Oxygen and Nitrogen Species Salamanca (Spain), 19-21 May, 2010 DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION 31 MARCH 2010 Reactive Oxygen and Nitrogen Species (RONS) play critical roles in cell signaling both in Health and in Disease, and there is an exponential increase in the number and quality of publications on this matter. The need to discuss the current understanding in this issue is therefore imperative and, on behalf of the Spanish and Portuguese Groups of Free Radicals, we are pleased to announce our offer for an appropriate frame to broadly discuss this issue in the city of Salamanca (Spain). We are bringing the best worldwide experts in Oxygen and Nitrogen Free Radicals Research (please, see the Scientific Programme on the left), and we will cover important aspects on the roles of RONS in physiology and pathophysiology, including Mitochondria, Cell Signalling, Ageing, Nuitrition, Nervous System and Neurodegenerative Diseases, Cardiovascular Disease, Cancer or Plant Physiology. Salamanca is a small but alive and widely known University city, plenty of students in May, and having many interesting historical and culture buildings and places. The city is just 2 hours away from Madrid by motorway, or 1 hour away from Valladolid, where an international airport is working. Salamanca is also connected with Barcelona by plane, and with Madrid by train. Thank you very much and looking forward meeting you in Salamanca in May 2010. Juan P. Bolaños |
